This Privacy Policy explains how X2Chat ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the X2Chat mobile application and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

• Account and identity data: app-specific user identifier (Slot ID), public cryptographic keys, and device identifiers.
• Contact and profile data: display name, avatar, and contact list data you choose to add or sync.
• Service metadata: message delivery status, timestamps, technical routing data, and call/session events required to operate the Service.
• Diagnostics data: app logs and error reports when sent from the client for troubleshooting and reliability.
• Device and network data: OS version, app version, push token, and limited technical connection data.

2. End-to-End Encryption

X2Chat uses end-to-end encryption for supported messaging and call flows. Message content and call media are encrypted in transit so that only communicating users can decrypt them. We do not use message content for advertising.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide messaging, calling, authentication, and security features.
• To maintain service performance, reliability, and abuse prevention.
• To deliver notifications and improve product quality.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Legal Bases (where applicable)

Depending on your region, we process data based on contract necessity, legitimate interests, consent (where required), and legal compliance.

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data only with:
